Privacy Policy

What we collect
- Account: your email and a hashed password. We never store your password itself.
- Licence and PC: your licence status and a one-way hash of a hardware ID, used to keep the licence on one PC. The raw hardware ID never reaches us.
- Settings: the profiles and settings you save in the client, stored on your account.
- Technical: IP address and request times, kept for security and abuse prevention.
- Payment: your Lemon Squeezy order number and purchase email. Payment details go to Lemon Squeezy, never to us.
Why
To run your account, check your licence, sync your settings, process your purchase, prevent fraud and answer support requests. We do not sell your data.
Nothing stored on your PC
The client keeps your settings on your account instead of in files on your PC. It only uses temporary files while running.
Who we share it with
Only the services that run Solaris: our hosting, database, rate-limiting and email providers, and Lemon Squeezy, under data processing terms. We also disclose data when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
While your account exists. Security logs are kept for a limited time. When you delete your account we delete or anonymise your data, except what we must keep for legal, tax or fraud reasons.
Security
Passwords are hashed with scrypt. Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Sessions use secure, http-only cookies, and client licence tokens are signed and short-lived. Access to our systems is limited to what is needed.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can access, correct, export or delete your data, and object to processing. Email support@solaris-client.cc and we will respond within the time the law requires.
Children
Solaris is not meant for children below the age of digital consent where they live.

We will update the date above when this policy changes.
